Trapp Electric
Dear Valued Generator Customer,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025. We have some changes happening for the next year and would like you to know about them.
We have been downsizing and no longer have electrical employees. I have been struggling to keep up with the work that keeps coming. Some of you have probably noticed that I am not as attentive with your generator. To make matters worse the generator companies are not small business oriented and make me jump through tons of hoops to be certified. I just don't want to do that anymore. At my age I want to get in more hunts and travel more with Ann. We both just feel we are not giving the same quality service that we have in the past, and because of these reasons and many more, I have decided not to keep up my certifications with both Kohler and Generac. As of 2026, we will no longer be able to do warranty work and will be slow on any service work, if we do it at all. I will refer you to others if the work does not fit into my schedule.
We understand the market might not be able to handle the influx of generators we service, so we will still be available to the yearly maintenance of your generator, (change the oil and generator inspection) this next year. At least at this time but you will need to email us for an appointment close to the month when we normally service your generator. We are going to see how this goes and make adjustments as needed.
We would like to thank you all for the years of being your generator service company. This is a really difficult decision, and it has really been a pleasure working with you.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Dan and Ann Trapp
