We Want You to

About UsDan was born and raised in Arbor Vitae, an actual local to the area. His first job was cleaning up the job sites for his father, a builder. He graduated from Lakeland Union High School, and took a job insulating low income houses. He also worked for a wholesale building supply company, working in the warehouse and driving semi. Little did he know that he would meet his future wife, Ann, while working here.
He then decided to become an electrician and worked for his uncle for several years while going to school. He then took a job with a commercial company out of Marshfield and finished his schooling. He was working at Howard Young when a page came over the intercom for him to report to admitting. His daughter Catherine would soon be born. When the company laid him off in 2004 due to a slow down in the business, it was then that Dan decided he wanted to start his own business. He really wanted to build it from scratch. In 2006 Ann decided to quit her job to be at home with the children and help Dan with the business. We have been working hard to keep food on the table and keep our customers happy, but we wouldn't want it any other way. Dan likes to support the community and is very active with our children and Sparky, our hunting dog. He came with the name and we couldn't change it. The newest member to our family is Electricity, or Ele for short. She came to us after being found in a dumpster. (Please take your unwanted animals to a safe place.) She is just the cutest dog and has found a place in our home very quickly. We are also into mountain biking as you may have heard from Dan. If you would like to learn more about Lakeland Area Mountain Biking Organization LAMBO just click on the picture of Dan on his bike. Ann started off on a farm, which was known as the Electric Farm because it was one of the first in the area to have electricity. She moved across the road to their new house when the farm was sold. Her father started his own business and her love for business began. When she graduated from high school she went to UW- Stevens Point where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis in Personnel, that was what they called Human Resources back then. After graduation she moved around the state for several years before coming to the Northwoods. Here she has worked at Wausau Supply, Howard Young, Ace, and Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council. In 2006 she quit her job to raise her children and help with the business Dan was starting. She brings all her office skills that she learned along the way. It's her voice you will probably hear when you call us.
